Pakistan parliamentarians meet IPU Secretary General at UN

UNITED NATIONS: A five-member Pakistani Parliamentary delegation, led by Senator Sabir Ali Baloch, Deputy Chairman Senate, met here with Inter-Parliament Union (IPU) Secretary General, Anders B. Johnsson.Pakistani parliamentarians are visiting New York to participate in the 2012 Parliamentary Hearing at the UN General Assembly.  In the meeting both sides agreed to enhance cooperation between the IPU and Pakistan’s Parliament, a news release said.
