Counsel of Haqqani granted visa to London

KARACHI: The British High Commission is expected to issue a visa by Tuesday evening to Zahid Hussain Bukhari, the counsel for Husain Haqqani, DawnNews reported.

The statement of the central character of the memogate, Mansoor Ijaz will be recorded through video link on February 22.

Bukhari requested for the visa in order to question Ijaz on the issue of the memogate. The request was accepted after a long gap.

Zahid Bukhari’s associate Ali Bukhari will receive the visa today by 3.00 pm on behalf of Zahid Bukhari.

Earlier, on Sunday, the secretary of the memo commission Jawad Hassan left for London in order to record the statement of Ijaz.
